Regatta days are days that are part of the regatta. Each regatta day may consist of a number of racing sessions (or none). Accommodation may be offered (and charged for), along with any of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Regatta days are edited on the Administrate regatta page.
Regatta days without sessions are considered non-racing days, but may offer meals or accommodation.
Sessions
A regatta day needs sessions in order for races to be scheduled. Click on the Edit sessions link for the regatta day.
Sessions only exist for administrative convenience. It is possible to manually schedule races outside a session.
Each session should have a name (as they will appear in the Edit races menu), a start time and an end time, an increment value (which is the separation of adjacent races, in seconds) and be attached to a particular schedule group. This allows complicated schedules to be created.
Each session should also have a start time, an end time, and an increment between race start times (given in seconds). The scheduler will use this information to automatically schedule races.
