Roles

In addition to the club-based roles, there are some general roles that can be assigned to users:

Regatta administrator

These users have special privileges that allow them to set up and run regattas. In addition to these, a user has to be designated for a particular regatta in order to be able to administrate it.

Race official

These users have access to special pages that would be used on race day, such as Control, Scratches, Start Line, Finish Line.

What are my privileges/permissions?

At the top left of the RDS page, once you are logged in, you should see the text You are logged in as [your name]. If you move the mouse to hover over your name, a box should appear displaying your permissions. If you do not have the permissions that you think you need, please email using the Information link at the bottom of the RDS page.
